Free Facebook Games in 2026: The List and How to Play

Facebook games didn’t go away — they moved. On the phone app, tap Menu (the three lines), then Gaming — it may sit under See more. On a computer, go to facebook.com/gaming/play, or just type fb.gg into your address bar. Everything there is free to play, and there’s nothing to install. Tested on the Facebook app and facebook.com in July 2026.

Play games on the phone app

1. Open the Facebook app and tap Menu — the three-line icon at the bottom right on iPhone, top right on Android.
2. Scroll down and tap Gaming. Don’t see it? Tap See more to expand the full list.
3. Browse the suggestions, or use the search bar at the top to find a game by name.
4. Tap Play. Instant games open right inside the app — no download, no separate account.

Play on a computer

1. Log in at facebook.com.
2. In the menu on the left, click Gaming. If it’s hidden, click See more first.
3. Or skip the menu entirely: type fb.gg or facebook.com/gaming/play into your browser.
4. Click any game to play it in the browser tab — again, nothing to install.

Facebook games list: what’s free to play in 2026

The lineup rotates, but these are the free Facebook games that have stayed in the Gaming section all year (checked July 2026):

• 8 Ball Pool — quick one-on-one pool matches against friends or strangers.
• Words With Friends — the Scrabble-style classic; games carry over to the mobile app.
• EverWing — a simple shoot-and-collect arcade game that’s easy to pick up.
• Ludo Club — the board game, playable with friends in the same match.
• Solitaire and UNO — card staples with no learning curve.
• Candy Crush Saga — also a separate phone app; log in with Facebook and your levels sync.

All of them are free to start. Many sell optional in-game extras, and some show a short ad between rounds — that’s how they stay free.

What happened to Facebook Gameroom?

Facebook Gameroom — the games program you installed on a PC — shut down on June 30, 2021, along with most of Facebook’s old Flash web games. The separate Facebook Gaming app for phones followed in October 2022. Neither can be downloaded anymore, and any site offering a “Gameroom download” today isn’t official — skip it.

Games now live inside the main Facebook app and on facebook.com. Your progress is tied to your Facebook login, so if a game you played still exists as an instant game or a phone app, logging in with Facebook usually brings your progress back.

If Gaming isn’t in your menu

• Update the app. Older versions hide or rename the Gaming shortcut. Update Facebook in the App Store or Play Store, then check Menu again.
• Search the menu. Tap Menu, then type “gaming” in the search bar at the top — Facebook moves shortcuts around, and search jumps straight to it.
• Use the address bar. fb.gg works in any phone or desktop browser, even when the shortcut is missing from your menu.
• Missing an old game? Most Flash-era games were retired for good at the end of 2020. Search the game’s name in Gaming — if nothing comes up, it was shut down or moved to its own app.
